Etihad Airways Opens New Lounge

Etihad Airways has launched its U.S. Preclearance Lounge at Zayed International Airport as of December 30, 2024. This new facility aims to enhance the travel experience for passengers traveling to the United States.

This lounge is situated near the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Preclearance facility, allowing guests to relax after completing U.S. entry procedures prior to boarding their flights.

The lounge boasts a variety of beverage selections and light meal options, complementing Etihad’s superior travel services. Some flights provide the convenience of boarding directly from the lounge, facilitating a seamless journey.

“This new lounge marks another milestone in our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for our guests,” said John Wright, Chief Operations & Guest Officer at Etihad Airways.

The U.S. Preclearance Lounge is available for eligible guests traveling in The Residence, First or Business Class, and also for Platinum and Emerald Etihad Guest members. Access can also be purchased based on availability.

Etihad currently offers nonstop flights to Boston, Chicago, New York, and Washington D.C. They are set to expand services to Atlanta in July 2025, further solidifying their presence in the North American market.
