NCL Elevates Damian Borg to Senior Sales Strategy & Operations Director for Asia Pacific

Norwegian Cruise Line announces the promotion of Damian Borg, enhancing strategic roles for growth in Asia.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced the promotion of Damian Borg to Senior Director of Sales Strategy & Operations for Asia Pacific due to significant growth from the region. In his new role, effective January 1, 2025, he will support Ben Angell, the Vice President and Managing Director of NCL APAC, to enhance the fly/cruise market to destinations like Europe, Alaska, and Hawaii, while leading four country managers in Asia.

The team includes:

  • Manoj Singh, Country Head for India
  • Takahiko Yajima, Country Head for Japan
  • Crystal Wong, Director of Sales for Greater China and South Korea
  • William Tay, Director of Sales for Southeast Asia

This appointment highlights NCL’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and supporting growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Angela Middleton has also been promoted to Director of Field Sales for AU/NZ, collaborating with Borg to boost sales and trade partnerships.

“Damian has already been a critical part of our success, and his appointment comes at an exciting time for NCL as we continue to capitalise on the strong cruise demand across the region,” said Ben Angell.
