ISKCON and Adani Group Collaborate for Kumbh Mela 2025 Initiatives
ISKCON Dwarka partners with the Adani Group to provide extensive support for pilgrims during the Kumbh Mela 2025.
ISKCON Dwarka has announced several collaborative initiatives for the upcoming Kumbh Mela 2025, partnering with the Adani Group. This partnership aims to ensure comfort and safety for the millions of pilgrims attending the event.
One significant initiative includes providing 200,000 meals daily during Amrit Snan days when attendees bathe in the Ganga, with the feeding program supported by Adani. Throughout the festival, ISKCON will serve 60,000 meals daily, focusing particularly on sanitation workers.
To assist with transport at the site, Adani will also sponsor golf carts for elderly and differently-abled pilgrims. Additionally, meals will be provided for drivers and conductors of electric buses, which cater to over 100,000 pilgrims each day.
For spiritual enrichment, under the leadership of Sanaka Sanatana Prabhu, the ISKCON Kumbh Team has arranged lodging for 3,000 devotees who will participate in various spiritual activities.
The daily Bullock Cart Sankirtan procession will allow devotees to engage in chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra along the Kumbh area.
Gaur Prabhu, ISKCON Dwarka’s Vice President stated: “Serving pilgrims during Amrit Snan days reflects ISKCON’s mission of compassion and devotion. With Adani’s support and the efforts of the ISKCON Kumbh Team, we aim to provide a spiritually uplifting experience for all attendees.”
