World Rainbow Hotels Experiences 37% Membership Growth

The LGBTQ+ global hotel consortia celebrates a significant surge in membership, driven by innovative marketing and strong community ties.

World Rainbow Hotels®, the world’s only GDS-enabled LGBTQ+ global hotel consortia, has reported a remarkable 37% year-on-year increase in membership, creating new growth opportunities for inclusive travel.

Driven by strategic marketing initiatives, focused outreach efforts, and strong partnerships within the LGBTQ+ community, World Rainbow Hotels®’ growth underscores its position as a leading consortium for inclusive travel, enabling hotel properties to connect with the vibrant LGBTQ+ market.

In its 15th year, the hotel consortia continues to see expansion in its top five markets – the USA, UK, Germany, France, and Spain – showcasing its international appeal. Member properties meant to promote inclusivity create safer and welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ travelers.

Notable LGBTQ+ destinations include New York, Madrid, and Mykonos, where travelers can experience luxury stays at iconic hotels such as The Roxy Hotel and The TownHouse Mykonos. Popular retreats like Tulum and coastal hotspots like Sitges stand out for their friendly environments.

“Making the hotel industry accessible and inclusive is a main driver for World Rainbow Hotels. Our new partnerships from diverse properties show we are achieving our ambition,” said Mark Lewis, CEO of HotelREZ Hotels and Resorts. “We are continuously seeking more partnerships that share our commitment to diversity and inclusion, expecting growth in 2025 as we refine our offerings for LGBTQ+ travelers.”

World Rainbow Hotels® specializes in supporting LGBTQ+ travel through partnerships with properties that offer curated travel experiences including pride events and inclusive packages. Recently joined brands include Broadwick Soho, The Athenaeum Hotel and Residences, and Nobu Hotel London Portman Square. Additionally, World Rainbow Hotels® is expanding its reach into North America and Asia Pacific to enhance inclusivity tourism and foster meaningful connections.
