Laguna Phuket recently launched a captivating art installation known as the Wishing Tree. This unique piece merges local craftsmanship with innovative design, inviting visitors to experience a magical environment.

Drawing inspiration from the allure of spontaneous architectural forms, the Wishing Tree is constructed from sustainable materials that are both visually striking and eco-friendly. It serves as an ideal photo backdrop, enhancing visitors’ experiences and creating lasting memories.

This installation, open to the public until April 30th, is made from over 700 bamboo shoots, marking the conclusion of a three-month Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative led by the Central Landscape Division. It showcases creativity and innovative design while encouraging a deeper understanding of aesthetic, functionality, and sustainability—key elements of Laguna Phuket’s sustainability goals.

Kraithera Lolurlert, Laguna Phuket’s Director of Central Landscape, stated: “Our sustainability initiative is defined by our commitment to environmentally friendly practices and creativity. We hope to engage visitors in a way that encourages them to reflect on their own environmental actions and reduce their carbon footprint.”

When viewed from the right perspective, the Wishing Tree appears like three separate trees, standing at heights of 6, 5, and 4 meters. Along with its visual appeal, this installation provides shade, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

To further enhance the visitor experience, Laguna Phuket will host a SNAP & WIN social media contest, encouraging guests to share photos or videos featuring the Wishing Tree. Participants will have a chance to win over THB 50,000 in dining and spa vouchers, sponsored by various resorts within Laguna Phuket.
