An architectural masterpiece, Capella Taipei boasts a sophisticated yet understated contemporary design crafted by interior architect André Fu.
Fu’s creative vision harmonizes urban vibrancy with calm moments, intertwining Taipei’s dynamic energy with serene tranquility.
“It is a re-telling of my personal journey discovering Taipei. Flaneuring around local neighborhoods and wandering into the lush tree-lined Dunhua North Road where the hotel resides, I was absorbed by the poetic environment: an antithesis to the urbanity one might typically perceive of Taipei. My vision translates relaxed luxury into a quietly curated private mansion, incorporating contemporary touches and cultural nuances.”

Situated in a lush corridor along Dunhua North Road, Capella Taipei reflects a modern mansion aesthetic. The hotel’s intricate elegance dialogues with cultural heritage, offering a sense of luxury steeped in local charm.
As guests arrive, they are welcomed by sculpted greenery and striking bronze doors, leading to an inviting courtyard. Ivys entwined on the cobblestone drive create a tranquil ambiance as they enter a series of warm, intimate salons filled with art curated from talented local artisans, including a tapestry from Taiwanese artist Lee Chen-Lin.
Inspired by his deep connection to Taipei, Fu describes the city as a lively urban tapestry interwoven with moments of poetic stillness.
