Silversea Unveils the 2029 World Cruise: A Journey Through the Pacific

Silversea's 2029 World Cruise offers a luxurious 125-day voyage across the Pacific, featuring over 60 destinations and unique cultural experiences.

Silversea has unveiled its World Cruise 2029, A Pacific Awakening, a 125-day ultra-luxury journey aboard Silver Whisper that will explore more than 60 destinations across 19 countries, with a strong focus on culture, navigation traditions, and immersive experiences.

Departing from San Diego on January 5, 2029, and concluding in Singapore, the itinerary crosses the Pacific through Polynesia, Micronesia, Melanesia, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, woven together with six exclusive events and an overland experience included along the way.

Eight Chapters Across The Pacific

The cruise is structured into eight themed chapters, each revealing a different facet of the Pacific’s story. The voyage begins with The Ancestral Isles from San Diego to Tahiti, honoring Hawaii and Polynesian navigation traditions, before proceeding through French Polynesia, Samoa, Fiji, and onward to Auckland by following ancient celestial routes. Subsequent chapters juxtapose glacier-carved fjords and remote coasts with vibrant metropolitan landscapes, wine regions, and wildlife encounters along Australia’s southern shores.

Highlighting segments include Emerald Lands & Golden Coasts (Bali to Manila) and Spring at the Gates of Empire (Tokyo to Hong Kong), with the final chapter taking travelers from Hong Kong to Singapore through temple-rich Southeast Asia.

Six Signature Events And An Overland Experience

Silversea’s World Cruise 2029 features six exclusive events, including a private evening at Honolulu’s ʻIolani Palace and a full-ship private island celebration on Kalanggaman Island in the Philippines. An included overland experience to Xi’an provides rare access to the Terracotta Warriors, with optional excursions featuring iconic sites like the Great Wall and Forbidden City.

This ultra-luxury cruise, accommodating only 392 guests, is designed for a personalized experience, providing all-suite, ocean-view accommodation and a dedicated butler service. This ensures an intimate and club-like atmosphere while accessing smaller harbors and remote islands, enriching the connection between guests and the communities they visit.

A pre-sale for Venetian Society members opens on April 14, 2026, with general sales starting on April 21, 2026. To browse the full itinerary and additional details, explore Silversea’s website.
