Loganair, the UK’s leading regional airline, is set to enhance Jersey’s connectivity with mainland Europe by launching a new direct service to Bordeaux. The flights will commence on June 19 and continue until October 5, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, providing a convenient route to one of France’s most acclaimed regions. One-way fares will start from £79.99 from Jersey to Bordeaux and €89.99 from Bordeaux to Jersey.

The introduction of the Bordeaux route is part of Loganair’s ongoing commitment to expanding travel options from Jersey, catering to both leisure and business travelers seeking more direct connections. Alongside the new Bordeaux route, Loganair will maintain seasonal flights from Jersey to Norwich, East Midlands, and Paris Charles de Gaulle, further strengthening links between the Channel Islands, the UK, and Europe.

Ronnie Matheson, Chief Commercial Officer at Loganair, expressed enthusiasm for the new route, stating, “Bordeaux is a fantastic addition to our Jersey schedule for summer 2026, offering customers a direct gateway to one of France’s most popular regions.”

Matt Thomas, CEO at Ports of Jersey, highlighted the significance of this new service, noting that it provides Islanders with greater flexibility for travel to the south of France and opens Jersey to a broader audience in the Bordeaux and Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

Passengers flying with Loganair will enjoy a 21kg baggage allowance and can collect Avios through the Loganair Loyalty program. The airline was recognized as the most punctual major airline for UK arrivals and departures in 2025 by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, with 81% of flights on time.
