
Cathay Pacific Enhances Travel Comfort with New Premium Economy Class from Chennai to Hong Kong
The introduction of a Premium Economy cabin on Chennai-Hong Kong flights by Cathay Pacific promises to elevate passenger comfort significantly.
Hong Kong’s home carrier Cathay Pacific has announced the launch of a new Premium Economy cabin on flights from Chennai to Hong Kong. This initiative underscores the airline’s commitment to enhancing both its service network and customer experience.
The Airbus A350-900 will feature this new cabin alongside Business and Economy classes, catering to a range of traveler preferences.

With evolving traveler needs, the new cabin aims to provide a comfortable alternative between Business and Economy classes, especially for medium to long-haul flights.
Cathay Pacific’s Premium Economy class features design elements such as enhanced recline, extra legroom, and ergonomic headrests, all aimed at ensuring passenger comfort. It includes full-length calf rests, leather-padded footrests, and larger meal tables for enhanced dining comfort.

In addition, the airline plans to increase its flight frequency on the Chennai to Hong Kong route, ensuring that, from January 2 to March 1, 2025, flights will operate four times weekly and rise to five times per week from March 2 to March 30, 2025, to meet growing demand.
