From April 10 to 12, Macao will host the 14th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (MITE) at The Venetian Macao, centered on the theme Global Convergence, Future Horizons.
The event aims to gather global travel professionals alongside peers from various sectors like hospitality and commercial aviation to enhance in-industry integration, fostering economic diversification in Macao. It is officially backed by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and supported by other entities.
Tourism+ at the Forefront
At a recent press conference, MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes emphasized MITE’s role in showcasing Macao’s strengths as a significant platform for tourism-related businesses.
A Grand Scale
With 30,000 square meters available for approximately 1,500 booths, over 700 exhibitors from 58 countries have signed up, reflecting MITE’s influence in the industry. The Expo will feature more than 130 themed sessions, showcasing innovations and trends within the tourism sector.

This year’s edition promises to introduce new focus areas, including:
- APEC Empowerment and Multi-Destination Tourism: Featuring itineraries themed around the APEC meeting.
