Pan Pacific Hotels Group Introduces 'Every Meeting Matters' Initiative

The campaign aims to enhance the MICE sector by focusing on technology, wellness, and sustainability.

Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) has unveiled its “Every Meeting Matters” campaign, marking a significant step in its commitment to revolutionising the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector. As global business travel rebounds, PPHG aims to cater to the changing needs of business events, focusing on technology, wellness, and sustainability.

The MICE industry is undergoing a transformation, with the global market valued at approximately $783.70 billion (US$783.70 billion) in 2023 and expected to grow to $1.40 trillion (US$1.40 trillion) by 2032. This growth is driven by a generational shift, with Millennials and Gen Zs now making up over 40% of conference attendees. These younger professionals demand more tech-enabled, wellness-focused, and environmentally responsible meetings.

PPHG is responding by investing in upgraded event spaces and enhancing service delivery across its portfolio. The group has strengthened its MICE capabilities, offering high-speed connectivity, state-of-the-art audiovisual infrastructure, and innovative meeting tools. “We reaffirm our commitment to being a trusted partner for impactful meetings and events,” said Choe Peng Sum, CEO of PPHG.

In the Asia-Pacific region, the MICE market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 10%, reaching $355 billion (US$355 billion) by 2030. PPHG’s properties in key markets like Singapore, India, China, and Australia are well-positioned to meet this demand, offering prime city-centre locations and versatile event spaces.

PPHG’s initiatives include reducing single-use items, sourcing locally, and incorporating wellness and eco-themed activities into event programmes. “Our MICE strategy is centred on delivering experiences that combine creativity, technology, and sustainability,” said Celine Du, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at PPHG.

With strategic investments in asset enhancement initiatives, PPHG is poised to support the evolving business events landscape, ensuring its venues remain attractive and relevant for future growth.
