Bob W, a tech-driven hospitality operator, has secured a long-term lease for a flagship 119-unit property in the heart of Munich, set to open in May 2026. This addition highlights a significant move for Bob W in expanding its footprint in Germany following a series of other successful deals.
Located at Schwanthalerstraße 61, the new property features 119 well-designed serviced flats, with amenities including kitchenettes in both studio and one-bedroom options. Its strategic location is just five minutes from Munich Central Station and the iconic Old Town, and within easy reach of the Oktoberfest area.
The acquisition reinforces Bob W’s goal to make Germany a fundamental market for growth, with Munich positioned as a critical hub. Since the beginning of 2025, Bob W has launched four new properties in Bavaria’s capital, now totaling six in operation. The company aims to transition its current operation into a full Bob W property in stages, ensuring a smooth launch with minimal interruptions while enhancing the guest experience.
Co-founder and CEO, Niko Karstikko, emphasized the significance of Munich in the business landscape: “Munich is one of Europe’s most competitive hospitality markets, so securing a flagship asset in the city center is a significant milestone for us.”
The real estate transaction was managed by Francesco Mazza of BNP Paribas Real Estate, reflecting the ongoing interest in adaptable, tech-enabled hospitality models. With over 100 properties and 7,000 units throughout Europe and the UK, Bob W is actively pursuing additional opportunities within Germany and across European markets, with further announcements expected soon.
