Tobago Introduces New Online Arrival and Departure Card

Travellers to Tobago can now enjoy a smoother entry and exit experience with the launch of the Online Arrival and Departure Card (ADC) Platform. Introduced on 11 March 2026, this digital system allows passengers to complete immigration documentation online, reducing processing times at ports of entry. The paper-based system was discontinued on 17 March.

The platform’s introduction coincides with British Airways’ announcement of enhanced Caribbean connectivity, including daily flights from London Gatwick to Barbados with onward connections to Tobago starting 25 October. This expansion is part of a nine percent growth in the airline’s long-haul network, driven by increasing demand from UK travellers for Caribbean destinations.

Travellers must submit the online ADC and upload their passport’s biodata page up to 72 hours before travel. Upon submission, they receive a digital receipt with a QR code, which must be shown to immigration officials. An online account is required to complete the process.

The new system is expected to improve the visitor experience by making travel to Tobago more efficient and welcoming. For more information, travellers can visit travel.gov.tt.
