Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has announced the first images of two new super ships, the S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene, scheduled for launch in 2027. These ships draw inspiration from the timeless styles of Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich, promising a distinct design approach along Europe’s rivers.

The S.S. Audrey will embody Hepburn’s elegant style, featuring a contemporary design adorned with greens, golds, and blues. It is set to include luxurious facilities such as a cozy aft bar lounge, a private dining area, and flexible suites ideal for families. The inaugural journey will commence on April 16, 2027, with itineraries covering routes like ‘Remarkable Rhine & Historic Holland’ and ‘Paris, Prague & Germany’s Hidden Gems’.

On the other hand, the S.S. Marlene, inspired by Dietrich’s striking aesthetic, will showcase warm beige and gold tones along with vibrant accents. Accommodating up to 154 guests, it will feature a restaurant, lounge, spa, and fitness center. Its first trip is planned for March 27, 2027, on the ‘Tulips & Windmills’ route.

Additionally, Uniworld plans to launch the S.S. São Rafael on Portugal’s Douro River and the Aqua Blu expedition yacht in collaboration with Aqua Expeditions. By the end of 2027, Uniworld will have transitioned its entire fleet to include only super ships, furthering its reputation for offering indulgent river cruising experiences.
