The Athenee Hotel Bangkok Enhances Its Facilities with State-of-the-Art LED Screens
The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Bangkok, has announced an investment of approximately THB10 million in a cutting-edge LED screen system. This is notably the largest installation of its kind in any hotel ballroom across Bangkok.
This initiative aligns with the hotel’s ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the expanding MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) sector in Thailand.
According to Blair Fowler, the hotel’s General Manager, “This strategic investment reflects our confidence in Bangkok’s continued growth as a regional events hub. Today’s global planners expect world-class production standards within premium hospitality settings. Our LED infrastructure enables us to meet those expectations while improving operational efficiency and sustainability.”
Events Reimagined
The new LED screens, installed in both the Crystal Hall Ballroom and the Grand Hall Ballroom, measure up to 27 meters in width and 5 meters in height. They transform traditional ballroom staging into a ready-to-produce visual platform suitable for international conferences, corporate summits, large product launches, and immersive brand activations.
In addition to their impressive visual capabilities, the LED installations offer measurable environmental advantages by reducing energy consumption compared to conventional projection systems and eliminating the need for disposable printed materials.
Event content can now be entirely digital, reusable, and adaptable in real-time, which minimizes material waste and simplifies post-event disposal.
Offering ultra-high-definition clarity at 800 nits of brightness, the fine-pitch P2.6 system is tailored for optimal performance in ballroom lighting conditions.
Tailored Configurations
With screen configurations of 9, 18, and 27 meters in width available, organizers can scale production effectively, enhancing cost efficiency while cutting down on unnecessary staging infrastructure. Advanced video processing systems further support high-resolution playback and seamless integration for complex multi-source productions.
The movable LED screens allow for easy resizing, repositioning, or adjustment of configurations to match different agenda formats and staging requirements.
