Air Arabia Introduces New Direct Flights to Ethiopia

Air Arabia announces the initiation of non-stop services to Addis Ababa from Sharjah, enhancing travel connections between the UAE and Ethiopia.

Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced its new direct flights to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The service will begin on January 30, 2025, with three weekly flights connecting Sharjah International Airport to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, expressed enthusiasm about the new route, stating: “We are delighted to add Addis Ababa to our growing network of destinations. This new route reflects Air Arabia’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and fostering economic and cultural ties between the UAE and Ethiopia.”

This addition further strengthens Air Arabia’s commitment to expanding its network into Africa, offering increased opportunities for tourism, trade, and investment.
