Heritage Expeditions, a leader in small-ship expedition cruising, is excited to introduce its latest ship, Heritage Discoverer, as part of the expansion of its cruise offerings. This ship will join the ranks of their existing vessels: Heritage Adventurer and Heritage Explorer, with voyages set to commence in May 2027.

The ship, built for authentic adventure cruising, was constructed in the same Finnish shipyard as its sister, Heritage Adventurer. According to the owners, Aaron and Nathan Russ, the Heritage Discoverer symbolizes their family-run company’s legacy of exploration and adventure.

“Heritage Discoverer combines decades of exploration, on expeditions from the Northwest Passage to navigating remote tropical waters, islands and atolls, and south to Antarctica,” said Aaron.

The addition of the Heritage Discoverer will allow the company to expand its explorations into European, African, and South American regions, offering guests new and exciting opportunities.

Heritage Expeditions has a longstanding tradition of adventure, and this new vessel has been designed with comfort in mind, including 70 ocean-view accommodations and ample facilities to enhance the guest experience. The ship can carry up to 130 expeditioners with an experienced team aboard to ensure a memorable journey.

The ship’s maiden voyages will feature itineraries emphasizing the Arctic and Antarctic regions, alongside additional global offerings. Expect details on future sailing dates to be announced soon.
