Bob W Expands in Munich with New Properties
Bob W has announced the acquisition of three new properties in Munich, adding nearly 200 units to its portfolio in Germany.
Bob W, a tech-driven hospitality operator, has signed lease agreements to transform two former hotels and one aparthotel in Munich into Bob W locations, furthering its expansion strategy in the DACH region. The newly branded properties, called Bob W Münchner Freiheit, Bob W Munich Old Town, and Bob W Munich Schwabing, will add 198 units and nearly 4,000 square meters to Bob W’s portfolio in Germany, bringing the total to 15 properties in the country.
Niko Karstikko, CEO and Co-founder of Bob W, expressed his enthusiasm: “This deal was made possible thanks to the outstanding support from our team and partners in Germany. The locally inspired, design-led, and quality-driven hospitality of the properties aligned perfectly with Bob W.”
Sebastian Höcherl, the landlord, remarked, “Partnering with Bob W was an obvious and natural choice, as their values resonate seamlessly with ours.”
The new properties will feature a mix of serviced studios, apartments, and penthouses, all showcasing Bob W’s signature high-quality local design ethos and bespoke hospitality technology, blending the reliability of a hotel with the amenities of a home.
The prime locations will also enhance Bob W’s robust pipeline in key German cities, as the operator continues to grow its presence across the continent.
