FL Technics Indonesia Adjusts Operations for Ramadan
FL Technics Indonesia has tailored its operations to support its fasting employees during Ramadan while maintaining safety standards.
FL Technics Indonesia, a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider, has implemented strategic adjustments to accommodate its fasting employees during Ramadan while maintaining high safety and service standards.
The adjustments include modifying shift schedules so employees can start and end their workdays earlier, allowing fasting employees to return home in time for the Iftar meal. CEO Martynas Grigas emphasized this necessity, stating: “The majority of our colleagues in both Jakarta and Bali observe Ramadan. Therefore, we make minor adjustments to our shift scheduling.”
Fatigue management is crucial during Ramadan as employees fast during daytime hours. Additions in shift planning and close employee supervision help maintain operational standards while overseeing employee wellbeing. Grigas noted, “Our supervisors pay close attention to employee readiness during Ramadan.”
To foster team bonding, the company provides snack packs for Iftar and hosts a traditional staff dinner attended by both employees and management, which Grigas described as “a very important date in the year for our team.”
FL Technics Indonesia operates extensive facilities at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta and I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, supported by over 500 aviation experts. The company is a part of Avia Solutions Group, the largest aerospace business group from Central and Eastern Europe.
