Disney Adventure Arrives in Singapore, Launching its Asian Journey

Disney's latest cruise ship reaches Singapore, marking its first homeport in Asia, promising exciting voyages.

Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Adventure, has made its grand entrance in Singapore, marking a significant milestone as the first Disney ship to homeport in Asia. The arrival was celebrated with a magnificent water salute coupled with a fireworks display at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore on March 3, 2026. This event heralds a new era for cruise vacations in the region.

The Disney Adventure is scheduled to set sail for its inaugural journey from Singapore on March 10, 2026, offering three- and four-night voyages. The vessel will present a mix of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel narratives, featuring top-notch entertainment, immersive dining experiences, and beautifully designed accommodations. Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Experiences, underscored the importance of this expansion, stating, “The arrival of the Disney Adventure in Singapore marks a significant milestone in our global expansion, introducing Disney cruising to Asia for the very first time.”

This launch is part of Disney Experiences’ broader growth plan, which aims to increase its fleet to 13 ships by 2031. Singapore’s strategic role as a premiere cruise hub, enhanced by its extensive airlinks and cruise infrastructure, facilitates this expansion. The Disney Adventure’s five-year commitment to homeporting is expected to elevate fly-cruise demand and greatly influence the local tourism and maritime industries.

Melissa Ow, the Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board, commented on this partnership, stating, “Disney Cruise Line’s choice to base their newest ship in Singapore is a testament to our status as a leading cruise destination.” The ship will feature seven themed areas, distinctive regional offerings, and exclusive entertainment, including the longest rollercoaster at sea, the Ironcycle Test Run.
