Emirates and Flydubai Resume Flights to India as Dubai Airports Restart Operations

A phased resumption of flight services begins at Dubai airports, focusing on Indian routes due to regional airspace constraints.

Dubai Airports has initiated a phased restart of flight services, with limited operations resuming at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) as of March 2. The gradual return focuses primarily on flights to India and select regional destinations due to ongoing constraints in the airspace.

A previous suspension of operations on February 28 resulted from significant disruptions caused by regional security issues and airspace limits. As operations resume, travelers are urged to wait for confirmation from airlines before arriving at the airports, emphasizing that schedules remain tentative as airlines adjust their flight patterns.

This marked a crucial step in restoring air travel in the region, enabling airlines, including Emirates and Flydubai, to begin their services to various locations in India and other areas.

Travel agents are working diligently to assist clients during this evolving situation, with some travelers opting for private jets at exorbitant costs to escape the complications arising from the airport closures.
