Filinvest Hospitality has ushered in a new era with the official appointments of Francis Gotianun as Chief Executive Officer and James Montenegro as President and Chief Operating Officer, effective February 26. This significant transition occurred during an event at the Quest Plus Conference Centre Manila. Additionally, Ria Sarrosa has been named the company’s first Vice-President for Hotel and Restaurant Operations.
This move is pivotal as Filinvest Hospitality aims to solidify its foothold in the Philippine hospitality sector. The leadership changes demonstrate the organization’s commitment to growth, operational excellence, and its evolving portfolio of hotels and resorts across the nation.
Montenegro underlined that this new phase showcases the company’s development over the past ten years, stating:
“If you look at our brands today, where they were five, ten years ago, they’ve matured in a very different way. I’m proud to say that a lot of the [related strategies] are really very well executed. Also, we put a lot of effort into really developing the people and creating this culture of discipline…”

The new leadership team will continue to enhance its brand strengths, including Crimson Hotels & Resorts and Quest Hotels & Resorts, while seeking new opportunities in key leisure and business destinations.
Gotianun indicated the company’s focus on careful investments for growth:
“We are always looking to grow, so we make sure that we are making measured investments in various areas… We want to have the brands that people admire.”
