Aman-i-Khás Introduces New Luxury Tented Pool Pavilions and Wilderness Experiences in Ranthambore
Aman-i-Khás enhances its offerings with new luxurious tented accommodations and a series of immersive nature experiences.
As a new year begins near Ranthambore National Park, Aman-i-Khás is launching a new phase with expanded lodging options and a variety of new nature-centric experiences. The intimate safari camp now boasts 13 tented pavilions, welcoming two Grand Tented Pool Pavilions and one Tented Pool Pavilion, enhancing Aman’s reputation for supreme comfort and peaceful solitude in the wilderness.
New Grand Tented Pool Pavilions
These Grand Tented Pool Pavilions span 256 square meters, making them the largest accommodations at Aman-i-Khás. They offer a stay that echoes the feeling of a grand hotel suite, all under the comfort of a luxurious canvas. Each pavilion features a temperature-controlled outdoor pool, a private open-air sundeck, spacious living and dining areas, and a spa-style bathroom designed for relaxed post-safari evenings.
The separate Tented Pool Pavilion, measuring 164 square meters, presents similarly bright interiors and a private plunge pool for an intimate but expansive hideaway. All new accommodations reflect Aman-i-Khás’ design ethos, featuring high ceilings, natural materials, and muted tones that harmonize with the surrounding region.
Wilderness Adventures and Cultural Engagement
Beyond jeep safaris into Ranthambore’s wildlife—home to the elusive Bengal tiger—guests can engage in excursions to Surwal Lake in the cooler months, embarking before dawn to view over 200 species of migratory and native birds, including bar-headed geese and kingfishers, while enjoying traditional sweets with chai.
The Fort & The River experience offers a glimpse into Rajasthan’s regal history, allowing visits to the picturesque Khandar Fort and the Chambal River, one of the few wild waterways left. This involves exploring ancient temples, step wells, and palatial ruins embraced by nature, followed by a river cruise to search for crocodiles, turtles, and rare avian species, all while enjoying a gourmet lunch prepared by a private chef.
For those wishing to explore on horseback, guided safaris on the majestic Marwari breed offer a romantic experience across the idyllic landscape, taking routes once traversed by Rajput royalty. During the night, guests can partake in a stargazing session led by an astronomer, equipped with a telescope to explore various celestial bodies illuminating Rajasthan’s expansive night sky.
Wellness in the Wilderness
The Aman-i-Khás experience seamlessly integrates wellness practices derived from ancient Indian healing traditions. Ayurvedic treatments with herb-infused oils provide relief after a day’s adventure, while aromatic baths with fresh garden herbs can be enjoyed in the seclusion of each pavilion.
New in 2026 is a yoga platform located above the camp’s pond, ideal for morning sessions or peaceful contemplation amidst nature’s sounds. Guests may choose various wellness options including breathing exercises, guided meditation, and private yoga, with classes available within the pavilions for enhanced privacy.
Elevated Culinary Journeys
Culinary offerings at Aman-i-Khás celebrate Rajasthan’s unique flavors and royal culinary traditions through innovative dining experiences. One such experience is the Machan Dining, set on an elevated platform mimicking historical jungle hunting towers, where guests are treated to traditional meals prepared over an open fire.
Families can engage in cooking classes starting at local markets to select seasonal ingredients before crafting a northern Indian feast with herbs from the camp’s organic garden.
As dusk falls, Forest Dining transforms a private area of the camp into an exclusive restaurant, illuminated by lanterns, where guests savor regional dishes and listen to the sounds of nature.
With its expanded accommodations, deeper wellness offerings, and a range of cultural, culinary, and nature-driven adventures, Aman-i-Khás continues to be a tranquil sanctuary for those seeking luxury experiences at the edge of Ranthambore.
