City of Dreams Manila's Impact on Caloocan's People's Park

The redevelopment of People's Park in Caloocan City, funded by the MRP Foundation, showcases the commitment to enhancing public spaces.

Community Transformation

The organized inauguration of the new People’s Park in Caloocan City marked its 64th cityhood anniversary. This Php50-million project was funded generously by the MRP Foundation, which belongs to the luxurious City of Dreams Manila. The park’s enhancement brings forth a modern space where community members can gather and engage in recreational activities.

Inaugurated by Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan alongside Clarence Chung, the project reflects the belief that shared spaces are vital for thriving communities, creating supportive environments where children can safely play. Chung stated:

“Communal spaces help build strong and thriving communities. We are thankful for the opportunity to contribute to Caloocan City’s public spaces.”

A Space for Everyone

The redevelopment involved landscaping and adding various facilities, including fitness equipment, picnic areas, and a pickleball court. It reflects the MRP Foundation’s focus on health, environment, and education, aimed at enhancing public amenities.

The park is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm and introduces food kiosks providing entrepreneurs with opportunities, aligning with the city’s goals for a greener, smarter urban existence.
