Loganair Celebrates Milestone with 250,000 Passengers on Key Route

Loganair has announced a significant achievement, transporting 250,000 passengers on its route linking Liverpool John Lennon Airport and the Isle of Man.

Loganair, the premier regional airline in the UK, has reached a notable milestone by transporting 250,000 passengers on its route between Liverpool John Lennon Airport and the Isle of Man. Launched in 2020, the service maintains twice-daily weekday flights, serving as a vital connection for business and leisure travelers across the Irish Sea.

Acknowledged as the UK’s most punctual major airline by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in 2025, Loganair is committed to improving regional connectivity. Ronnie Matheson, Chief Commercial Officer at Loganair, emphasized that this milestone illustrates the sustained demand for reliable regional air travel. He stated, _“We’re proud to play a part in linking communities and supporting local economies on both sides of the Irish Sea.”

Additionally, Paul Winfield, Director of Aviation Development at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, expressed his satisfaction with this achievement, highlighting the importance of the route in connecting the two regions. This service not only makes it easier for travelers to access the Isle of Man’s rich cultural and natural offerings but also strengthens economic connections.

Passengers flying with Loganair enjoy a 21kg baggage allowance as standard, which enhances the travel experience for extended visits and multi-stop journeys. With an impressive 81% of its flights arriving and departing on time, Loganair surpasses the industry’s average of 72%, according to the CAA’s assessments of the top 20 airlines operating at UK airports. This achievement further demonstrates Loganair’s dedication to delivering dependable and effective service.
