Air Transat, recently recognized as the 2025 World’s Best Leisure Airline by Skytrax, has initiated seasonal routes from multiple Canadian cities, increasing access to sought-after sun destinations.

The airline has initiated nonstop flights from Quebec City, Windsor, Charlottetown, and Fredericton, providing options for travelers from Eastern Canada and Southern Ontario seeking winter escapes.

The new service from Quebec City to Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe began on February 18 and is notably the only nonstop offering between these locations. This route will operate every Wednesday until April 29, 2026, utilizing the Airbus A321LR, celebrated for its efficiency and comfort. Stéphane Poirier, President and CEO of Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, expressed great excitement regarding this new service, underscoring its contribution to the airport’s goal to diversify travel options.

Windsor to Punta Cana flights commenced on December 19, 2025, running every Friday until April 10, 2026. Additionally, services from Charlottetown and Fredericton to Cancún began on February 18, 2026, with weekly flights each Wednesday until April 22, 2026. These routes aim to simplify travel arrangements and offer enticing all-inclusive packages for holidaymakers.
