Philippine Officials Collaborate with VFS Global to Launch Contract Verification Services in Dubai
The new Contract Verification Centre in Dubai aims to streamline employment contract verification for Overseas Filipino Workers.
Officials from the Philippine Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and VFS Global conducted the official opening of a new Contract Verification Centre (CVC) in Dubai earlier this week.
This facility represents a significant advancement in the support services available to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) throughout the UAE. Created through a collaborative effort between VFS Global and DBP Data Centre Inc (DCI), this service aims to make the employment contract verification process more accessible and efficient for OFWs, leveraging technology for an improved experience.
This initiative showcases a shared commitment to offering secure, transparent, and reliable services that ensure employment contracts comply with Philippine government standards while safeguarding the welfare of workers in the UAE.
A Better Way to Book Appointments
The Contract Verification Centres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi allow OFWs to book appointments and process payments online before submitting their documents in person. Once the verification is completed by the MWO, applicants will receive notifications through their registered email addresses to access their Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) along with their verified employment contract.
Designed to enhance user experiences and accessibility, these centres will extend operating hours, provide real-time application tracking, secure online payment options, and waive convenience fees during their first 30 days of operation.
