ADMAF to Launch the UAE Premiere of ‘Echoes of Fez’ at Louvre Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) is excited to present the UAE premiere of ‘Echoes of Fez,’ an exclusive inshad concert featuring acclaimed vocalist Noureddine Tahiri Jouti. This event is scheduled for March 1, 2026, at the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

This concert is part of ADMAF’s Spiritual Series and is organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Morocco in the UAE. It offers an immersive experience, showcasing a selection of Andalusian and Moroccan musical traditions and spiritual compositions.

‘Echoes of Fez’ will include traditional works such as: san’a, tawshiya, muwashshah, and zajal, showcasing various classical Arabic poetic metres and modal systems.

Her Excellency Huda Alkhamis-Kanoo remarked that this event reflects the values of coexistence and human fraternity, especially significant during the holy month of Ramadan.

The concert is set to revive cherished masterpieces of spiritual chanting and laudatory praises, featuring over 23 traditional compositions performed by a group of seven distinguished vocalists and musicians. His Excellency Ahmed Tazi has pointed out how this concert symbolizes the strong cultural bonds between Morocco and the UAE, emphasizing the role of music in fostering dialogue and connecting people.

The ensemble accompanying Tahiri Jouti will include Tehami Belhouat (qanun), Mohamed Fahd Ronda (oud), Slim Ameri (violin), Mohamed Hamza Ameri (tar), and Abdel Fattah Ameri (darbuka). The performance will offer a coherent spiritual and musical journey aligned with the essence of Ramadan. Concert starts at 9:30 PM, with additional information available on the ADMAF website.
