Air Astana Enhances Guangzhou Connectivity with New Flights

Air Astana is expanding its services to Guangzhou, introducing new flights that will bolster business and tourism links.

Air Astana is set to boost its connectivity to China by introducing new twice-weekly flights from Astana to Guangzhou, starting June 2, 2026. This expansion comes after the airline commenced four weekly flights from Almaty to Guangzhou in March 2025. Air Astana also offers flights to Beijing and Urumqi and plans to initiate a service between Almaty and Shanghai by the end of March 2026.

The new flights will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, departing at 18:45 and arriving at 04:30 the next day. Return flights will take off from Guangzhou on Wednesdays and Fridays, leaving at 05:45 and arriving back in Astana at 10:10. These services will utilize the latest Airbus A321LR aircraft, with a flight time of 6 hours and 45 minutes.

Round-trip fares for the new route begin at $508 for Economy Class and $1,688 for Business Class. The airline aims to strengthen business, tourism, and cultural connections between Kazakhstan and China while enhancing travel and transit options through its hubs in Astana and Almaty.
