Gulf Aviation Academy Enhances Training for 2025

The Gulf Aviation Academy reports a notable increase in training programs, preparing over 4,000 professionals in aviation, contributing to the region's educational growth.

The Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA) wrapped up the year 2025 by significantly increasing its output, providing training to over 4,000 aviation professionals worldwide, marking a 15% increase compared to the prior year. This growth is linked to enhanced investments in simulation and technical training that cater to the region’s demand for high-quality aviation education. GAA expanded its offerings with more than 300 specialized courses and secured new partnerships with six airlines, broadening its influence beyond Bahrain.

In 2025, GAA introduced a joint-venture simulator for the B737NG and began operating over ten full-scale flight simulators, including models like the A320, B737NG, and B787. They further advanced their training capabilities through the establishment of in-house e-learning platforms, enhancing accessibility to various programs.

Captain Qasim AlBastaki, Chief Operating Officer for Gulf Air and accountable manager at GAA, expressed the focus on maintaining excellence and investing in infrastructure, commenting, “Demand for high-quality aviation training continues to rise, bringing in revenues which can be reinvested into Bahrain’s aviation industry.”

GAA was honored with the Education & Training Quality Authority (BQA) Gold Seal award for the third consecutive year, emphasizing its adherence to quality standards. With the aviation sector poised for further expansion, GAA is well-positioned to address the changing requirements of airlines and stakeholders across the Gulf and beyond, ensuring top-tier training standards through ongoing investments and growth.
