
AIME 2026 has officially launched in Melbourne, marking its 33rd edition with record attendance and strong industry support. Over three days until February 11, 2026, the event will host more than 1,500 vetted buyers and feature over 750 exhibitors from the global business events sector.
The event showcases growth and reflects a strong commitment to sustainability under the Net Zero Carbon Events initiative. According to CEO Matt Pearce, this year’s show is the largest yet, emphasizing quality outcomes and industry confidence.
Highlights of the event include:
- Exhibitors from 36 countries, with first-time participation from South Africa, UAE, and Uganda.
- 25,000 pre-scheduled meetings between buyers and exhibitors, showcasing the event’s pivotal role in the international business community.
- A keynotes program focusing on growing expertise in the industry, with speakers like Dan Haesler, Milo Wilkinson, and Kristina Karlsson.
Julia Swanson, CEO of the Melbourne Convention Bureau, praised the ongoing growth of AIME, while Robin Mack echoed the importance of such events in promoting Australia on the global stage.
