Airbus Establishes Training Partnerships with Two Thai Universities

Airbus has signed agreements with Kasetsart University and KMITL to enhance industry training for students in the aviation field.

Airbus has reinforced its commitment to education in Thailand by signing training agreements with two leading universities: Kasetsart University and the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL).

The partnerships, formalized at the Singapore Airshow, aim to enhance the curriculum with practical immersion experiences, including annual site visits to Airbus campuses and internship opportunities to provide students with meaningful industry experience.

Valuable experience for the next generation
Over the course of the three-year partnership, both institutions will co-develop two courses focusing on flight operations support from an aircraft manufacturer’s perspective.
Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai emphasized the importance of this collaboration by stating, “Through this partnership, we aim to equip our students with vital skills and insights into industry practices.”

KMITL’s president, Dr. Komsan Maleesee, highlighted the partnership’s role in bridging education with industry, cultivating future innovators in aviation.
Further expressing enthusiasm, Paul Colgnec from Airbus stated, “We are excited to welcome these universities to our network, preparing students for successful careers in global aviation.”
