
Incentives Awarded to Eason Chan and Jacky Cheung for Concert Success in Hainan
Eason Chan and Jacky Cheung receive substantial concert incentives following successful performances in Hainan.
On February 2, the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports released a notice regarding incentive awards for concerts held by Eason Chan and Jacky Cheung.
According to the announcement, Eason Chan’s “FEAR and DREAMS” World Tour sold tickets to 38,800 attendees while generating ticket sales of RMB 67.48 million (around USD 9.71 million), surpassing the threshold of RMB 15 million. Consequently, he qualifies for a one-off incentive award of RMB 1 million (about USD 140,000).
Similarly, Jacky Cheung’s “60+ Concert Tour” at the Haikou venue achieved 22,900 attendees and ticket revenue of RMB 43.03 million (approximately USD 6.19 million), exceeding the required minimum income of RMB 10 million. This concert also secures a RMB 500,000 (about USD 70,000) incentive award.
Since 2024, various regions in China have initiated support policies for commercial live performances, including concerts, covering areas such as Shanghai, Hainan, Fujian, and others.
