Qatar Airways has partnered with Michelin-starred Filipino chefs Jordy and May Navarra to offer a distinctive business class menu on flights between Manila and Doha, beginning February 2, 2026. This new menu will later be featured on return flights from Doha to Manila starting in July 2026, presenting a modern take on traditional Filipino cuisine.
The carefully curated five-course dining experience designed by Chef Jordy Navarra includes a range of delightful dishes such as seared chilled scallops for the starter, braised beef short ribs tiyula itum as the main course, and a dessert of sans rival cake paired with Philippine chocolate sorbet. Light options include a pansit noodle ensalada and a breakfast porridge made with purée of arroz caldo. The ingredients are sustainably sourced from local suppliers, showcasing the finest Filipino produce.
This initiative highlights Qatar Airways’ dedication to delivering exceptional in-flight experiences and reaffirms its position as a leader in air travel. The airline has been honored with the title of World’s Best Business Class on eleven occasions and recognized as the World’s Best Airline eight times, most recently in 2024. With operations servicing over 170 destinations globally, Qatar Airways is committed to setting benchmarks for luxury and innovation in the aviation industry.
