Launch of JCB Panda Card in Partnership with Taiwan Rakuten

The new JCB Panda Card introduces a cashback incentive for users in Taiwan.

JCB International Co Ltd has officially launched the JCB Panda Card in collaboration with Taiwan Rakuten Card on January 15, 2025. This new card offers up to 3% cashback on purchases made using percentage-based payment options like LINE Pay and JKO Pay at selected Taiwanese merchants, including airlines and gas stations.

Details

For consumers outside of Taiwan, the JCB Panda Card includes an unlimited base offer of 1.5% cashback, while users in Japan, Korea, and Thailand can enjoy a 3.5% cashback.

Established in 2014, the Taiwan Rakuten Card has transformed the Taiwanese credit scene by becoming the first e-commerce platform to issue its own credit card.
