Ixigo has introduced a dedicated microsite to help devotees, pilgrims, and travellers plan for Maha Kumbh 2025, which is taking place in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26, 2025. As the world’s largest spiritual gathering, Maha Kumbh draws millions of devotees from across the globe. The microsite acts as a one-stop destination, providing a comprehensive guide to logistics, rituals, activities, and everything needed to navigate this extraordinary event seamlessly.

The guide allows travellers to book hotels, tents, flights, trains, and buses all in one place, highlighting significant events like auspicious bathing dates. The site is powered by ixigo’s AI-driven tool PLAN, offering tailored itineraries for every preference.

As Maha Kumbh 2025 unfolds, ixigo has noticed a 2.6x surge in flight and train bookings to Prayagraj and nearby areas, with notable increases in flight bookings by 162% year-on-year and train bookings up by 187%. Notably, 57% of train bookings are made by solo travellers, a significant portion of whom are women.

In statements made by Aloke Bajpai and Rajnish Kumar of Ixigo, they emphasized the microsite’s role in empowering travellers with essential information, thereby ensuring a smooth journey to the festival.
