Crystal Sets Sail for 2026 with Strong Commercial Success
Crystal enters the year from a position of strength, with bookings tracking ahead of prior years and a clear concentration of demand.
After its acquisition by A&K Travel Group in 2022, Crystal underwent a significant transformation. The company’s two ships, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, were relaunched in 2023 following extensive refurbishments, featuring larger suites and enhanced public areas.
Susan Haberle, the Vice President for Sales and Partnerships at A&K and Crystal, noted, “For more than three decades, Crystal has represented a very particular standard of luxury at sea. The current positive momentum is a result of focused investments in services that prioritize guest experience.”
As Crystal looks ahead, the demand for their itineraries remains robust, supported by a pioneering partnership with Abercrombie & Kent, which enhances the travel experience by integrating unique shore excursions.
The brand’s evolution has been acknowledged through accolades, including being named the Top Midsize-Ship Ocean Cruise Line by Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards in 2025.
Looking towards the future, Crystal’s plan for growth includes the introduction of the “Crystal Grace,” its first new ocean ship in 25 years, slated for delivery in May 2028.
