Delta Launches New Flights to Bay Area for Upcoming Big Game

Delta Air Lines enhances travel options for fans heading to the Bay Area from Boston and Seattle for the big game.

Delta is adding additional flights for fans heading to the Bay Area from Boston and Seattle. Customers can also catch the game on Live TV on their seatback screens. “Moments like the big game bring people together, and Delta is proud to help our customers be there for the fun and to cheer on their teams,” said Amy Martin, Vice President of Network Planning. “From additional departure options to multiple Bay Area gateways, Delta’s expanded schedule builds off our existing robust domestic network that is designed to meet increased demand and keep customers moving forward.”

Boston to San Francisco

From the East Coast, Delta is increasing service by adding a nonstop flight between Boston (BOS) and San Francisco (SFO), raising the schedule from two to three daily flights starting February 6 and a return flight on February 9.

Seattle to the Bay Area

As the Official Airline of the Seattle Seahawks, no one is better positioned than Delta to transport Seahawks fans to the action. Delta is offering five flights per day from Seattle (SEA) to San Francisco (SFO), and will add an extra daily nonstop flight back to SEA on February 9, boosting the total to six daily flights.

For Seattle Seahawks fans enrolled in 12Status, Delta’s SkyMiles loyalty program for Washington residents, every passing yard translates into SkyMiles, and they receive Zone 5 priority boarding when departing SEA for the big game. Additionally, 12Status members enjoy a 12% discount on purchases every 12th of the month during the 2025-2026 season at the Seattle Seahawks Pro Shop in Renton, Washington, and at Lumen Field.

For travelers wanting to land closer, Delta also provides four daily nonstop flights from SEA to San Jose (SJC), just a short drive away from the main action. With two Bay Area airports and multiple daily departures, Delta simplifies planning the perfect trip.

Direct to San Jose from New York

To boost capacity across its network to San Jose (SJC), Delta has introduced nonstop service from New York JFK to SJC starting February 6, with a return service on February 9. These flights will use Delta’s Airbus A321neo aircraft, ensuring a premium experience for customers traveling across the country for the big game.
