Dubai Fountain’s Closing Announcement

The Dubai Fountain, celebrated as the world’s largest performing fountain, is scheduled to close for an extensive upgrade lasting five months. Set to begin in May 2025, this renovation aims to enhance the fountain’s technology and design to deliver even more captivating displays of water, music, and light.

Located in Downtown Dubai, this attraction has long been a central feature of the city, delighting millions of visitors with its performances, especially against the stunning backdrop of the Burj Khalifa. The upgrade will not only retain its status as a top tourist destination but will also introduce new elements to elevate the experience.

Mohamed Alabbar, Emaar’s founder, stated:

“Dubai Fountain is more than a spectacle—it is a reflection of Dubai’s soul, where art, innovation, and emotion come together in perfect harmony.”

While the fountain is undergoing renovations, visitors can still enjoy various attractions in Downtown Dubai, including Dubai Mall and other entertainment options. The renovation is anticipated to conclude by October 2025, promising a dazzling return that will enhance the public’s admiration for this iconic landmark.
