A Friluftsliv-centric Adventure
The journey encourages participants to embrace the Norwegian philosophy of friluftsliv, which emphasizes enjoying the great outdoors, no matter the weather.
Travelers will stay in charming accommodations ranging from renovated timber fishing warehouses to quaint guest houses. The itinerary includes cycling along scenic routes on Andøya, visiting a Sami culture and reindeer center, and exploring the stunning fjords of Langøya.
Participants will also have opportunities to observe Arctic wildlife such as whales and puffins and experience the phenomenon of the midnight sun during summer.
The cost for this tour is set at $5,600 (£4,595) per person for a group of twelve, which covers accommodations, meals, activities, and e-bicycle rentals. Additionally, a 1% contribution will be donated to local causes, with The Slow Cyclist committed to ensuring that the benefits of tourism enhance the communities and businesses they engage with along the journey.
