Malaysia Airlines Collaborates with Mumbai Indians

Malaysia Airlines has partnered with Mumbai Indians to enhance brand visibility and engage with audiences in India.

Malaysia Airlines has recently established a collaborative partnership with the Mumbai Indians, India’s premier cricket team, aimed at boosting brand recognition and commercial growth in significant markets. The airline will act as both Associate Sponsor and Official Global Airline Partner. This partnership intends to reinforce its foothold in India, a vital market for growth.

The partnership was commemorated with the launching of 100 Wau Bulan kites at Jio World Gardens in Mumbai during Makar Sankranti, symbolizing cultural unity through the realms of sports and travel.

Head Coach of the Mumbai Indians, Mahela Jayawardene, was present at the event along with team representatives.

Enhancing Engagement for Both Parties

With a global fan base that surpasses 55 million, the Mumbai Indians present Malaysia Airlines with an invaluable platform to connect with audiences across India and beyond.

In the collaboration, Malaysia Airlines will provide exclusive experiences for Mumbai Indians fans, including on-ground interactions, co-branded events, and appearances by players. The airline will also promote its Bonus Side Trip program, encouraging international travelers to discover Malaysia during their transits. A spokesperson for the Mumbai Indians expressed pride in this partnership with Malaysia Airlines, acknowledging shared values of excellence and a global presence. The collaboration aspires to create unforgettable experiences for fans while promoting tourism and trade between India and Malaysia.
