Tourism Malaysia Showcases at the UK’s Premier Travel Event
Malaysian tourism is in the spotlight at the UK’s largest travel trade show, aiming to attract new visitors ahead of the upcoming Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
The Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show 2025, organized in conjunction with The Times and The Sunday Times, kicked off today, January 16, in Manchester Central, running until January 19. Afterwards, the event will move to Olympia London from January 30 to February 2.
With the year 2025 serving as the buildup to Visit Malaysia Year 2026, Tourism Malaysia takes this chance to showcase the nation’s unique attractions and encourage travelers to discover its hidden treasures.
The exhibition highlights Malaysia’s diverse offerings—from its tranquil beaches filled with turtles to the vibrant culinary scenes and historical beauty of cities like Kuala Lumpur—providing a variety for every traveler.
Tourism Malaysia is partnering with key collaborators such as Malaysia Airlines, YTL Hotels, Borneo Adventures, and Odyssey World Tour Operator to provide expert advice on travel choices, lodging facilities, and personalized touring experiences.
Showcasing Malaysia’s Best
By presenting the full spectrum of Malaysia’s sights, cultures, landscapes, and wildlife, the exhibition aims to secure Malaysia a prime position on the travel itinerary of visitors.
Attendees to Destinations 2025 can interact with the Tourism Malaysia team, who will guide them through the array of attractions available, crafting unforgettable adventures.
Opportunities to Learn and Experience
Visitors may explore Malaysia’s unique menagerie of attractions, from lush rainforests to beautiful beaches, and rich cultural heritage. Particularly captivating will be the Henna art interactive experience—a window into Malaysia’s cultural practices— set to take place at the London showcase on February 1.
