My Cruises has announced the return of its innovative cruise, Explorations by Norwegian, offering the world’s first year-long voyage to and from Australia.

Set to embark from Sydney in the autumn of 2027, this journey will last over 360 days, visiting more than 230 ports worldwide. Guests can choose to book a segment of at least 10 nights or the full year-long adventure.

Michael Middleton, the Global Head of Cruise at My Cruises, emphasized the rising interest in extended travel experiences, stating: “Explorations by Norwegian has proven the demand for longer, more immersive journeys with premium inclusions.”

This cruise specifically targets travelers from Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, providing onboard amenities that facilitate effortless extended sea travel.

Notes from a Successful Debut

The inaugural season of Explorations by Norwegian saw tremendous success, with nearly half of the available inventory sold out within six months.

The 2027/2028 season will introduce new destinations like Kenya, the Philippines, Borneo, and Taiwan, as well as unique itineraries such as a 28-day Ultimate Panama Canal cruise.

Additionally, the cruise will feature new turnaround ports in Dubai, Istanbul, and Bali, along with extended overnight stays for deeper exploration.

Included in the cruise packages are international flights, premium beverages, specialty dining, and other amenities, ensuring a comprehensive experience.
