Hyatt Partners with Wink to Expand in Vietnam

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a strategic partnership with Indochina Kajima, marking the global debut of its Unscripted by Hyatt brand. This collaboration sees six Wink properties in Vietnam joining the Unscripted portfolio, expanding Hyatt’s presence in the country from four to ten hotels. The new destinations include Can Tho, Tuy Hoa, and Hai Phong, with a seventh property, Wink Hanoi Westlake, set to open in late 2026.

“The Unscripted by Hyatt brand is an ideal match for the modern, tech-savvy and social-centric ethos of Wink. We are thrilled to bring this fresh, adventurous brand to a new generation of Vietnamese travellers and international guests.”

Wink, a made-in-Vietnam lifestyle hotel brand, is known for its sleek design, tech-enabled service, and sustainable operations. Michael Piro, CEO of Indochina Capital and Wink, commented, “Joining the Unscripted by Hyatt brand allows us to scale that vision whilst staying true to what makes Wink different: our contemporary ethos, sustainable DNA and modern Vietnamese style with nostalgic touches.”

Hyatt’s Unscripted brand is designed to be flexible and conversion-friendly, allowing independent hotels to maintain their identity whilst benefiting from Hyatt’s global systems and the World of Hyatt loyalty programme. This move is expected to enhance the guest experience and attract both domestic and international travellers to Vietnam’s key destinations.
