The Vietnamese government issued a resolution allowing visa-free entry for citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland on January 15. This decision is part of the country’s tourism stimulus program for 2025.
The resolution specifies that citizens of these European countries will be granted visa-free entry for a stay of up to 45 days for tourism purposes. This visa waiver policy will be effective from March 1 to December 31, 2025.
The policy applies to those traveling under itineraries organized by Vietnamese international tour operators, regardless of passport types, provided they meet Vietnam’s legal entry requirements.
At present, Vietnam’s visa-free policy covers visitors from 25 countries, including its Southeast Asian neighbors, Japan, and South Korea. The policy also includes citizens from 11 European nations, namely Belarus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.
