Saudia, the national carrier, is enhancing its flight services to support Saudi Arabia's event calendar throughout 2026, aiming to boost tourism and cultural exchange.
Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, is expanding its efforts to enhance support for the Kingdom’s growing events calendar throughout 2026. With major hubs in Jeddah and Riyadh, the airline focuses on facilitating international travel for Saudi Arabia’s cultural, sporting, and entertainment events, further establishing the country as a premier global destination.
The 2026 events lineup features the Diriyah Season, taking place from November 2025 to March 2026, which will showcase cultural programs at the UNESCO World Heritage site of At-Turaif. Riyadh Season, running from October 2025 to March 2026, promises a variety of global concerts and elite sporting events, including the WWE Royal Rumble. Notably, the BLVD Flowers zone will attract crowds with its vast array of 200 million flowers and remarkable 3D floral art.
Additionally, the Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale, launching in January 2026, will display works from over 70 international artists in the JAX District. Meanwhile, Noor Riyadh, the world’s largest annual light art festival, will turn the capital into an open-air gallery featuring impressive large-scale installations.
Saudia’s strategic partnerships and award-winning services play a crucial role in broadening access to these events, aiding Saudi Arabia’s transformation into a global tourism and cultural hub. This initiative aligns with the broader objectives of sustainable development and economic diversification within the Kingdom.
