Honggutan Enhances Tourism Through Exclusive Hong Kong Event

An event held to strengthen tourism links between Honggutan and Hong Kong showcased cultural performances and exciting offers for visitors.

The Honggutan Hong Kong Cultural and Tourism Promotion Conference was organized on December 16, 2025, with the goal of reinforcing cultural and tourism connections between Nanchang and Hong Kong. The event was led by the Nanchang Municipal Bureau of Culture and the People’s Government of Honggutan District, focusing on the region’s cultural heritage and attractions.

Zhang Lianbo, the Deputy Head of Honggutan District, expressed the area’s ambition to be recognized internationally for its cultural and tourism offerings. He remarked, > “This Hong Kong promotion serves as an important opportunity to deepen cooperation between the two places’ cultural and tourism industries.”

In addition, Xin Congjin, the Chairman of the Hong Kong China Tourism Association, commended the cultural assets and tourism opportunities available in Nanchang and pledged to promote collaboration.

Cultural Performances Take Center Stage

The event included engaging cultural performances, such as the dance ‘Dreaming Back to Hongzhou’ and the song ‘Yingshanhong’, which delighted the attendees with Honggutan’s cultural richness.

Various shows presented Honggutan’s attractions under three thematic segments: Ancient Heritage, Red Heritage, and Golden Modernity. Visitors were offered exclusive privileges, including a 79% discount at Nanchang Sunac Land and 30% off at the Nanchang Star Ferris Wheel and VR Park, thereby enhancing the Hong Kong tourist experience.

The event culminated with a cooperation agreement signing between the prominent cultural and tourism businesses from both regions, paving the way for future tourism exchanges.

Looking ahead, Honggutan aims to refine its cultural and tourism initiatives and deepen ties with Hong Kong, inviting more tourists to discover its scenic and historical spots.
