Following a successful 2024, Somabay Golf is thrilled to announce the awarding of the GEO International Sustainability Certificate for its golf course, making it the first in Egypt and one of only four in Africa to achieve this title. The GEO Certified® status underscores the values of environmental responsibility, community engagement, and natural enrichment—principles that Somabay Golf upholds. The course has implemented indigenous, water-saving plants, and was recently relaid using Paspalum Platinum grass, which significantly decreases water usage.

In addition to sustainability, Somabay has partnered with Le Club Golf, securing its place as their exclusive Egyptian partner and hosting the Amateur World Cup Finals from 2025 to 2027.
