Club Med Introduces New Resort in Mont-Tremblant
Club Med has announced the development of its second Canadian resort, Club Med Tremblant, set to open in December 2028.
Club Med has announced the development of its second Canadian resort, Club Med Tremblant, in partnership with Alderan, a French management company. This new venture marks a significant expansion for Club Med in North America, following the success of Club Med Québec Charlevoix, which opened in 2021. The resort, located in the Laurentians, will offer a premium all-inclusive mountain experience, featuring a ski-in/ski-out facility and a range of family-friendly activities.
The project, anticipated to open in December 2028, is expected to boost the local economy by creating nearly 300 direct jobs and a similar number of indirect roles. Carolyne Doyon, CEO of Club Med North America & the Caribbean, expressed enthusiasm about the new destination, stating, “We are thrilled to introduce a new destination offering an original premium all-inclusive mountain experience.”
Alderan, representing SCPI Comète, has acquired the land for the resort, with Club Med appointed as the delegated project owner. The development aligns with Club Med’s commitment to sustainable tourism, targeting LEED and Green Globe certifications.
The resort will feature gourmet dining, age-specific Kids Clubs, and wellness experiences, enhancing Mont-Tremblant’s appeal as a four-season destination. Patrice Malo, President of Station Mont Tremblant, highlighted the project’s potential to diversify tourism demand and expand international reach.
Club Med Tremblant is poised to become a flagship for the brand, reinforcing its mountain leadership in North America and attracting visitors worldwide.
