Cambodia's Foreign Tourists Reach 6.7 Million in 2024

Cambodia has achieved a significant increase in foreign tourist arrivals, aiming for even higher numbers in 2025.

Cambodia welcomed 6.7 million foreign visitors in 2024, exceeding its closest competitor, the Philippines, which had 5.4 million arrivals.

This achievement marks a 23% increase compared to the previous year, as the country strives to reach 7 million visitors in 2025.

Hun Dany, Secretary of State, attributed this success to effective tourism promotion, improved hospitality services, and enhanced tourism products.

The primary sources of tourists included Thailand, Vietnam, China, Laos, and the United States.

To achieve the ambitious target of 7 million international tourists, the Cambodian government plans to streamline the e-visa application process and lower associated fees.
